The Great Knoutberry Hill trig point is located on the summit of the hill of the same name. It was built in 1961 as one of the secondary order of trig points.

It is a fairly squat looking stone trig point situated next to a fence corner. The panorama from the trig point is excellent and includes all of the major hills of the western Dales. On a clear day the Lake District fells, including the Scafells and Great Gable can be seen.
