The Kelleth Rigg trig point is situated above the tiny village of Kelleth in the upper Lune valley. It was built in 1961 as part of the third order of trig points.

Originally the Kelleth Rigg trig point sat well to the north of the boundary of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. As with the northern Howgills and the Orton Fells it was incorporated into the national park when the latter was extended in August 2016.
