Cote Gill Fall is an impressive, if occasional, waterfall that can be found in Cote Gill, to the west of Arncliffe Cote, Littondale.
The waterfall is not marked on the map which is perhaps a sign of its non-permanent nature rather than being a glaring ommission by the Ordnance Survey. The waterfall can be found by a detour on grass to the south of the Arncliffe Cote to Street Gate bridleway.
On my first visit to the waterfall in the summer of 2015 I was disappointed to find the stream and waterfall completely dry. On my second visit in 2017 there was a modest flow thanks to heavy rain earlier in the week. It is a nice spot but definitely one that is probably best to visit immediately after successive days of wet weather.
