Hawes Falls is a small waterfall on Gayle Beck as it passes through the centre of the Wensleydale market town of Hawes.
The waterfall is one of the easiest to see in the Yorkshire Dales. It is situated immediately above the bridge which carries the main street over the beck. The only thing to take care of when visiting the waterfall is the passing traffic.

In addition to Hawes Falls there are also the Gayle Falls further upstream. The finest waterfall on Gayle Beck though is Aysgill Force. This can be found a mile or so upstream from Gayle and is definitely worth the short walk.
